The whole process

I really hate posting pictures of myself that are so ugly but I said that I would put up pictures so I am. I didn't have a lot of bruising as you can see. You could mostly see it once it started to fade and turn yellow.

When I got home from the surgical center Orin wanted to come and see me, so Justin brought him in. Then he threw up on me. He was throwing up every 20 minutes for the rest of the day. Then the next day I got the flu and was throwing up. Then Justin and my Mom got it the next day. Those were some of the crappiest days I've ever gone through.


I got the splint off my nose on Monday. Once I got it off my nose started to bruise across the bridge for whatever reason. So you can see that I have bruising on my nose now. I still have a lot of swelling in my nose and will for several months. It looks really different from the front. It's a strange thing to suddenly look different then you have your whole life. There is still a slight bump in the bridge but the Doctor thinks it will go away once the swelling is gone. It better! That was the whole reason I got the surgery. I do not want to do this again. Overall I am happy with the results. I think that in the end it will all be worth it. I'm just glad to have it over with!

My best friend of 24 years.

It's so hard for me to believe that my baby brother would be 30 today. It just doesn't seem like he could be that old. Where does the time go?

The time has arrived.

Well, tomorrow's the day. This is going to be the longest surgery I've ever had and probably the most painful. I guess I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. I'll post some pictures as soon as I feel up to it. Wish me luck!

Alton loves to look out the windows. He would always try to see out the windows at the front of the house like the other kids, but he's not tall enough. Then he discovered the windows in the back of the house!

This kid makes me laugh.

I swear every time I turn around Orin is doing something else that makes me laugh. He is a goon!
