Private

I am thinking about making my blog private. If you could please email me to let me know you are interested in reading it, I would appreciate it.

Crazy!

I know it's not something you should do to your body and that it doesn't exactly coincide with my religion, but over the weekend I went a little crazy and got a tattoo. For about six months I have wanted another one. I had decided that it wasn't the best idea and I wasn't going to. But on Friday I kept thinking about it. My best friend came over and I asked her if she would go with me, she said that she wanted one too. So, after talking to Justin about it, we decided to go the next day. We ran into a few difficulties and it was kind of a pain, but it all worked out in the end. I like it!

Crank

I recently finished reading a book titled "Crank" by Ellen Hopkins. It's about a girl who goes to visit her Dad for a few weeks during the summer. She meets a boy who introduces her to the "monster" as she calls it. The story is based on the authors daughter. It was a really good book and I enjoyed it. It brought back a lot of memories and made me realize just how truly blessed I have been. I will celebrate 15 years of sobriety this July.

I'm looking forward to reading the sequel.

Prayers

Eadie gives the best prayers that I have ever heard a child give. She says better prayers than Teya. She really thinks about what she wants to say and does such a great job. Tonight when she was praying she said "We're thankful that we had the great Abraham Lincoln". It was very, very cute!
Can you guess what she's learning about in school?

Helper

Justin got out the carpet cleaner to scrub a few spots and Alton was fascinated. He wanted to do the cleaning, and took over.

Alton and Teya actually fought over who got to scrub. Why don't they fight over cleaning up the toys?

Straw hat

While shopping at the dollar store I found this hat. I decided to try it on Alton. He looked so cute in it and seemed to like wearing it. I had to take pictures of course!

Lite-Brite

Eadie made this picture one night on Teya's lite-brite. The blue part is the sky. The yellow is the sun. The purple and orange in the middle are a flower. The green is the stem. The orange on the bottom right is a cat. And the red on the bottom left is a rabbit.

She was very proud of how well she did and I told her that I would take a picture of it and put it on my blog. Her response was "Wouldn't that be cool if I became famous for it?"

What a cutie!
