The thought of you leaving is more than I can bear. The disappointing words still hang heavy in the air. I want you well but I want you here. Our lives will be empty without you. Please promise it won't last...that you'll come back to us... you're a part of us. When will this be home again?

Growing up
Eadie lost her first two teeth this month. I can't believe that she is already old enough to be loosing teeth. Not to mention that in six months she will be starting kindergarten. Where does the time go? They just grow up way too fast.
We took a trip down memory lane yesterday. We went to University Hospital for an appointment and it brought back so many memories of being pregnant with Eadie. I remember the many trips we took to stop labor then walking the halls to try and progress labor. Wasn't that just yesterday? Life slips by in an instant.

Shocking
I had something really weird happen to me today. This is how the conversation went between me and one of my neighbors....
Nancy: "So I have to ask you, is that a wig?"
Me: "What, this?" (Pointing to my head...in a bit of shock)
Nancy: "Yeah."
Me: "No, this is my real hair."
Nancy: "I was just wondering because you always have a different color and style."
Me: "My hair is my hobby. I just like to change it all the time."
Nancy: "Well it looks cute."
Um...okay that was strange. Does my hair look like it's a wig?

I love you XPS
It's been a long time since I have posted, but life has been really crazy. The kids have all been sick with bad colds. Teya had strep and Alton has had three ear infections in the last month. He is on a strong antibiotic for the next two weeks. If it doesn't clear up then he is going to have to get tubes in his ears. The doctor apologized at our last appointment for the amount of time we have spent there lately. Such is life.
I had a great Valentine's Day this year. Justin bought me a super duper cool present which I am using to type this. I have been wanting a laptop for a while but thought it was kind of unnecessary since I had my desktop and it's not like I really need to take it anywhere. But more and more I am having to fight the kids to be able to use my own computer, because they want to play on it. So we decided that I would get a laptop. We looked at several different places and models and found a Dell XPS M1330 that was about $800 off and we couldn't pass it up. It's much nicer and faster than my desktop so I'm pretty happy about it. Mine is white....I'm in love with it!
As if that weren't enough...the door bell rang on Valentine's morning. I was feeding the baby and didn't really want to get it, so I didn't. The person rang a few times and I finally decided to see who it was. There was a white van in the driveway so I thought it was my sister and went to answer it. I opened the door and there was a delivery person with a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses and daisy's (my favorite) in a bright green and yellow vase. I took the flowers and just figured that they were for my Mom or Grandma. After I took them inside I looked at the card and I was so surprised to find out they were for me. I read the card and they were (of course) from my sweetheart. I called him and told him how much I loved them. Then a few hours later the doorbell rang again. I answered it and it was the FedEx man. He said "Meadow Jackson" I said "yes" and he handed me this huge box. I couldn't figure out what I was getting a package for. I opened it up and inside was a huge basket of chocolates, also from my sweetheart. I had the biggest smile on my face. I was completely surprised by both. I wasn't expecting anything since I had already got what I wanted. Needless to say Justin really made my day!
Hopefully things will settle down a bit now so that I will have a little more time to post.
Dani and Lincoln I know the baby is going to be coming in a few days. I hope all goes well, you are in my thoughts. Call us as soon as he is here, no matter what time it is. Love you guys!
