Spoon man

While eating his cereal one morning Orin decided to try out this new look. I found it quite amusing and decided to snap a picture.

Sometimes I am amazed by how smart this little boy is. We discovered last week that his frenulum connects all the way to the tip of his tongue. I talked to the doctor about it and he wanted him to go in for a speech evaluation to make sure it wasn't interfering with his speech. So, we went for the evaluation and it went really well. He is talking even better than most children his age and making sounds a lot of kids don't at this age. Although he doesn't need speech therapy they suggested that we get it cut so that it doesn't limit his tongue movement. He has an appointment on Monday to have it done. I didn't say anything to him about having it cut.

While we were talking today he said "and then we're going to go to the doctor and they're going to cut my tongue." Um...what! How did you know that was going to happen? He didn't seemed scared or bothered by it at all he said it very matter of fact. I worry about this one, he's just too smart for his own good!
