Strange little creature

Alton is one of a kind. He keeps proving over and over how different he is from the other kids. He doesn't have much interest in crawling. He would rather walk. Although he is having a hard time figuring out how. He does the funniest thing, as you can see from the picture. He will get on his feet and hands with his little bum in the air. It looks like he is just going to stand up. Strange....

He is going to be getting tubes in his ears next week. He keeps getting ear infections and can't seem to get the fluid out of his ears, which is affecting his hearing. He is also going to be having a scope done at the same time for the laryngomalacia. It hasn't really gotten better over the last few months so they want to see what's going on. I'm actually kind of relieved he's getting the tubes because they were going to do the scope in the office with him awake and I wasn't really prepared for all the gagging and fighting that it would involve.
